Hey! I'm Laura, a Reiki Master based in Scotland. I'm really happy that you’ve found my website!

While I'm a qualified Usui Ryoho Reiki Master, I actually just really enjoy all things energy. Ever since I was a child, I could feel the energy in rooms, especially in old houses and castles. At the time it creeped me out, but now it really intrigues me!

I had been going to Reiki as a client for three years when, one day, I had a spontaneous Reiki attunement during a session. When it happened, it felt as though I had been waiting for that exact moment my whole life.

I don't come from a spiritual or religious background, so when that happened, I started reading, researching, and gathering any information I could about Reiki and energy work to help me understand what was going on.

What I found was that a lot of the information out there is all the same, surface-level explanations repeated everywhere that didn't go into real depth or give me the answers I needed. So, I began digging deeper. I started reading neuroscience, psychology, and philosophy books, linking what I learned back to energy mechanics and Reiki.

I post my findings on Instagram and then go into much more detail in my articles. I also send out a weekly newsletter with my latest updates, behind-the-scenes thoughts, and book recommendations.
